Italian laser charms are created by laser engraving machines that etch artwork, a logo, or saying onto a stainless steel link. The artwork is transferred to the link and appears in a very dark gray color that stands in direct contrast to the shiny steel.

Because the artwork is etched into the link, it will not wear off. The quality and “readability” of laser charms is typically excellent. Of course, these charms do not contain any gold, but they are still very popular for creating local or specialty charms like school names, company logos, funny phrases, and other custom art.

Most Italian laser charms are etched in the country in which the charms are sold so that distributors and retailers can offer quick turnaround times for their clients. Many wholesalers also offer stock laser charms. Interestingly, we have noticed a significant number of unlicensed company and sports trademarks being used on laser charms.

Many of the major manufacturers offer lines of laser charms and a host of large online retailers are capable of making custom laser charms.
