| Nomination
Italian Charm Bracelets It is widely accepted that Paolo Gensini is the
creator and first manufacturer of Italian Charm
Bracelets. He founded Nomination in 1987 in Florence,
Italy. His Composable bracelets challenged conventional
designs which required a bracelet to be the same
forever. Rather, these new bracelets could be changed
daily to express the feeling and mood ad over individuality
of the user.
Following the huge success of Nomination, numerous
other Florence based companies emerged to help
expand the growth of the Italian Charm Bracelet.
Zoppini
Firenze
Founded in 1995 by Mauro and Manuel Zoppini, these
brothers and their father Marco are responsible
for transforming Marco’s one store jewelry
business into the largest and most recognized brand
of Italian charm bracelets in the United States.
Unodomani
Rounding out the top three Italian charm manufacturers
is Unodomani. Another Florence based company, they
manufacture a full line of charms, rings, and watches.
Roma
Italian Charms
This division of Unodomani is unique in that they
specialize in sterling
silver charms for Italian charm bracelets.
Re Florence
This company was born from the combined talents
of its five main partners and now offers an extensive
line of steel and gold jewelry including, of course,
italain charm bracelets. Also located in Florence,
Italy, Re Florence is the authorized manufacturer
of officially licensed Disney
Italian charms
Linx & More
Although the Catan sisters are known more for
starting the Italian charm bracelet phenomena in
the United States, they have evolved into a “manufacturer” over
the last couple of years by creating their own
Linx & More brand name. The charms are still
made in Italy, but the designs and ideas cater
more to the American market.
Other major manufacturers include the Puzzle line
by Linea-tre, Ry
Ry, Passavinti,
Italia, and Boxing.
There are also a number of “manufacturers” and
distributors that have become very popular due
to the licensed products that they distribute.
Talexia – This family owned and operated
company is home to officially licensed charms of
the Looney Tunes and Sesame Street characters,
Betty Boop, Mr. Magoo, Popeye, and Mr. Potato Head.
Casa D’ Oro – Home to a number of
